WealthBro is a brand of Nataraj Malavade, an AMFI Registered Mutual Fund Distributor (ARN-358619). In this policy, “WealthBro”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Nataraj Malavade acting under the WealthBrobrand. “You” means anyone who visits this website, contacts us or invests through us.

This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it and the rights you have under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and other applicable law. For the purposes of the DPDP Act, Nataraj Malavade is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here.

1. What we collect

  • Contact details: your name, phone / WhatsApp number, email address and city.
  • Investment preferences: the monthly SIP amount, preferred SIP date and any lump sum you share with us.
  • Risk assessment answers: your responses to our short risk questionnaire.
  • Conversations: messages and call notes when you contact us on WhatsApp, phone or email.
  • Usage data: basic technical information such as device, browser, pages visited and approximate location, collected through cookies and analytics tools.

Account opening, KYC documents (such as PAN, address proof and bank details) and transactions are completed on our onboarding partner’s platform and with the mutual fund companies. We receive the information we need to service your investments from them, as permitted by applicable regulations.

2. Why we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and add you to our waitlist or onboarding queue.
  • To help you open your investment account, set up your SIP and service your mutual fund investments as a distributor.
  • To understand your goals and risk profile so our communication is suitable for you.
  • To send you updates about your investments and our services. You can opt out of non-essential messages at any time.
  • To meet our legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations, including those of SEBI and AMFI.
  • To keep this website secure and improve it.

We process your data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form or contact us, and where the law permits or requires it, for example to comply with regulatory obligations.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed with:

  • Our onboarding and transaction platform partner (currently Creso), to open your account and process transactions.
  • Mutual fund companies (AMCs), their registrars (such as CAMS and KFintech) and exchange platforms, to process your investments.
  • Service providers that host and run this website, our database, analytics and messaging (for example Vercel, Supabase, Google Analytics and WhatsApp), under appropriate confidentiality.
  • Regulators, courts or authorities when required by law.

Some of these providers may store or process data outside India, subject to the safeguards required by law.

4. How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as you are in touch with us or invested through us, and afterwards for as long as applicable laws and SEBI / AMFI record-keeping rules require. Enquiries that do not lead to an investment are deleted or anonymised when they are no longer needed. You can ask us to delete your data earlier, subject to these legal requirements.

5. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can:

  • Ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is used.
  • Ask us to correct, complete or update your data.
  • Withdraw your consent and ask us to erase your data, where we are not required by law to keep it.
  • Nominate a person to exercise these rights on your behalf in case of death or incapacity.
  • Raise a grievance with us, and if it is not resolved, complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Withdrawing consent does not affect anything done before you withdrew it, and may mean we can no longer service your investments.

6. Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies to run this website and analytics cookies to understand how it is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may not work properly without them.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, such as encrypted connections and access controls, to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to prevent unauthorised access and will notify you and the authorities of a data breach where the law requires.

8. Children

Our services are meant for adults. Investments for a minor must be made through a parent or legal guardian, who provides the information and consent on the minor’s behalf.

9. Contact and grievances

For any question, request or grievance about your personal data, contact our grievance officer, Nataraj Malavade, on WhatsApp at +91 78995 45777. We aim to acknowledge requests within 2 working days and resolve them within 30 days.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Please also read our Terms of Use.
